shopping with us during COVID-19

Thank you for your interest in supporting my small business during this difficult time. For the first month of the pandemic, I have been pretty much shuttered and hunkered down at home. Due to requests from customers and encouragement from friends, I am putting in place a simple system for Virtual Personal Shopping. 

Please note that my Virtual Personal Shopping service is designed to make it possible for my local customers to feel specific needs they may have - whether it be a gift for a loved one that needs a pick-me-up - or a gift of self-care for yourself. If you are shopping simply to support my business - I truly appreciate it -- but please check out our support us page for even better (and free!) ideas.

Here are the basic nuts & bolts of Virtual Personal Shopping:


  • I can use phone, text, email, IG video messenger, or FaceTime via my personal cell phone at 609-439-3574. If you have a private ZOOM link, that can work as well. I can walk around the shop and give you a live tour. You can also browse our Instagram feed for ideas of things you would like to see. Email or text message is the best way to set up an appointment time. I am very flexible as I live only a few blocks from the shop; I am happy to accommodate last minute requests or schedule changes.

  • All payment is via debit or credit card over the phone. I do not have an online payment portal. I will type your card information directly into my terminal, so I never need to write down your number. As always, your receipt will be emailed to you.

  • I can deliver locally in and around Hopewell Boro, and can offer local pickup from the front porch of my home.

  • I will do a special delivery trip throughout the greater Hopewell Valley area sometime between May 4-6, to make deliveries in time for Mother's Day.

  • Depending on the item, and your time frame, I may be able to ship via USPS if needed.

  • While I am washing my hands frequently and wearing a mask while packing orders, I cannot guarantee the sterility of my shop environment. Therefore I recommend that once receiving the items you take the standard precautions as you would with any item received from outside your own home.


If you are shopping from farther away, or need something I do not have in stock, many of my artists sell directly to the public via their website. This is a great way to continue to support them during this crisis. Please reach out to me if you are looking to find a particular artist, and I can help you find them in the virtual world!
